Networking is nothing more than communication combined with goals and strategy. If you decide to integrate yourself into an existing group of people, you always do so with a certain intention: you want to establish and deepen relationships with others. Whether you want to build up professional contacts, or are looking for friends, life partners or an affair for one night in private: you almost always go into a group with a clear intention. It is not for nothing that the urge to dive into nightlife several times a week is much higher for singles with career aspirations than for happily married, professionally established people.
