Consulting and relationship management

For obvious reasons, it is much better to be in the center and not in the periphery of a network. „In the center“ means having many contacts, which in turn have many contacts in the respective community. „Periphery“ means that you have few contacts within the respective network, or that these are also only „weakly“ networked. In a central position, much more information reaches you, you have easier access to all available resources and relationships in the network, you can solve problems and achieve goals much more easily, you are helped much more, etc. – Networking and relationship management will be much easier for you.

Maybe you have already noticed the difference between an evening in a hotel bar in a foreign city or your regular pub: It’s usually more fun in your favourite pub, where you are well networked. It’s similar with professional relationship work: If you are perceived as the „hub“ of the network, it brings you more benefit and pleasure.

Establishing a successful network

The basic elements

By the way, similar elements appear again and again. Almost all associations and communities in our history, which have been successful over a long period of time, had similar, recurring basic elements in common.

  1. Regularity
  2. Small groups
  3. Recurring rituals
  4. A clear value system
  5. The duty of members to get involved
  6. Very personal, direct communication
  7. Clear signs, symbols and key messages
  8. A clear personal benefit for the members
  9. Professional, committed management structures with a clear hierarchy
  10. Slow, stable growth at the beginning

DICTYONOMy

Building a network

Be it the establishment of associations, lobby networks, business or private clubs: The Dictyonomie Institute offers know-how from 20 years of work in diplomacy, politics, economics and media in the capital of Germany. Let Alexander Wolf advise you on the development of your network project. Together with you we will develop a strategy and then accompany you during the implementation.  We will be happy to help you position yourself at the center of your network, strengthen or expand your network and make it resilient.

Relationship Management

Your customer and business relationships are crucial to the success of your company. Nowadays, relationship management no longer refers only to the emotional attachment of a customer to a company, but also to the relationships on the different business levels. Today, management, sales and purchasing must be included in an overall concept of systematic relationship management. Personal relationships are becoming increasingly important in times of modern communication technologies.

Optimize network

What makes a good network? How do you ensure that it grows? How do I increase the social relevance of my organization? Are you responsible for a club, association or federation? If your network can tolerate more members, more life, more status or more dynamics, then you should draw on the experience of the Dictyonomie Institute. How do you make members happy, and how do you get them at all? We would be happy to work out the answers to these questions together with you.

Interactive learning

Modern networking requires modern methods: a networking workshop under the direction of Alexander Wolf is anything but conventional. Networking is taught and learned in a playful and individual way. The individual topics are deepened through question rounds and exercises. In this way, the rules of networking are learned interactively and playfully instead of being presented dryly. If you prefer to listen to a lecture, the Networking Video might be something for you.
